Quiet Note .09
Dear Friend
Welcome to Quiet Note .09
In this space, where calm moments meet inspiration, my hope is that these notes bring you a sense of peace, thoughtful reflection, and a gentle reminder to find beauty in the quiet.
Lovely Words
“Many people seem to think it foolish, even superstitious, to believe that the world could still change for the better.
And it is true that in winter it is sometimes so bitingly cold that one is tempted to say, “What do I care if there is a summer; its warmth is no help to me now.”
Yes, evil often seems to surpass good.
But then, in spite of us, and without our permission, there comes at last an end to the bitter frosts.
One morning the wind turns, and there is a thaw.
And so I must still have hope.”
Happy beautiful Sunday,
Yes, Hope—the reassurance that God is good and faithful.
Sometimes, it takes letting go of all that worries us and surrendering it to Him, trusting that He will work all things for good.
In the quiet moments, when the world feels heavy and uncertain, we can find peace in knowing that He who holds the universe also holds our hearts.
Three days ago, just before noon, a little miracle came into our lives—a beautiful baby Grandson. His arrival is a tangible reminder that hope endures.
Just as the thaw follows the bitter cold, so does new life, new beginnings, and new blessings.
No matter our circumstances, we can rest in the truth that God’s promises are always sure.
xx
