Redefining Greatness

A graceful orchid with soft purple and white petals against a dark background, symbolizing resilience and a redefined perspective on greatness.
Being great is not connected to what we do as much as it is connected to who we become.
— —Father Mike Schmitz

What is the greatest thing I could ever do? When I sit with this question, I realize—the greatest thing may not be a thing at all.

I’ve done many things in my life. None of them would be considered great by the world’s standards, but I’ve found contentment in knowing I gave my best effort. And I will always continue to try new things, because that is how we grow. I often joke that I am forever the beginner.

But more than skill or accomplishment, life is a journey of living, learning, and becoming. I may never master anything, never achieve greatness in the way the world defines it. But if, at the end of my days, I have become the person God intended me to be—that will be enough.

Thank you for being here, it truly means so much. As always, I invite you to share in the comments below.
