Cinnamon Ginger Tea
As the Christmas season settles in, there's nothing quite like a warm, comforting cup of tea to bring a sense of peace and warmth.
My beautiful daughter-in-law shared this simple yet soothing recipe for Cinnamon Ginger Tea—it's become a favourite in our home.
It’s the perfect way to unwind and savour the moment, especially with the bustle of the holidays.
There’s something special about taking a quiet moment for yourself with a cup of tea, especially when paired with a cozy spot by the tree and a good book.
Here's how to make it.
2-3 sticks of cinnamon
About an inch of ginger, sliced (no need to peel)
4 cups of water
Honey to taste
Your favorite mug
A decorated Christmas tree (optional, but highly recommended!)
A cozy spot to sit
Soft music
A good book
Add the water, cinnamon sticks, and ginger to a pot.
Bring to a boil and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Adjust the simmering time to reach your preferred flavor strength.
Add honey to taste and stir to dissolve.
Pour into your favourite mug, settle into your cozy spot, and enjoy.
Simple, festive, and full of warmth—enjoy my friend. ♡
